An INS-GNSS combines an inertial navigation system with a satellite navigation receiver in one unit. GNSS gives absolute position that does not drift; the INS gives smooth, high-rate output and bridges gaps when satellites are blocked, jammed or spoofed. A Kalman filter blends the two.
