An attitude and heading reference system combines an IMU with a magnetometer and a processor that fuses their signals. It outputs roll, pitch and heading (yaw) continuously, and stays stable where gyroscopes alone would drift.
Aeron's Octantis 2 AHRS is used on airborne platforms.
