
Aeron Systems briefed the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri on its indigenously developed CSTR GYR-1200, a high-end tri-axial gyroscope built using the latest MEMS technology. The presentation highlighted the company’s advancements in indigenous inertial sensing technologies and its contributions toward strengthening India’s defence self-reliance initiatives.
Developed using the latest MEMS technology, the GYR-1200 was qualified in accordance with MIL-STD-810G & MIL-STD-461E standards, ensuring reliability and performance for demanding defence applications. The product was developed under the Government of India’s iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence) initiative and is planned for deployment in key defence platforms.
The opportunity to present the technology and showcase Aeron Systems’ work was facilitated by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), recognizing the successful completion of project milestones under the iDEX program.
