Energy drives climate change, making a rapid rise in renewable capacity essential. The global shift toward solar and wind power both dependent on weather is transforming industries worldwide
WEATHER MONITORING SYSTEM FOR SOLAR
Aeron is one of the leading global suppliers of weather (met) stations for renewable energy plants. The energy generated from renewable sources (wind, solar) depends on the weather conditions and so Weather Station from Aeron allows customers to constantly monitor the operating efficiency of the plants.
Aeron's data gateway products allow energy consumption measurement in commercial buildings, complexes, and factories thus enabling consumers to control the energy usage and minimize wastage.

Weather Monitoring Systems for Solar PV Power plants
Today, Aeron Systems provides an extensive suite of weather monitoring technologies tailored for renewable energy operations. Our Weather Stations are deployed in some of the most remote locations, from high- altitude cold deserts to scorching tropical regions, maintaining constant functionality 24/7, year-round.
The energy generation from Solar PV power plants is dependent on various atmospheric conditions. It is thus very crucial to have an accurate and reliable Weather Monitoring Station (WMS). A Weather Monitoring Station (WMS) plays a crucial role in the performance monitoring of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Plants by providing real-time and historical meteorological data. This information is essential for optimizing the efficiency and output of solar power systems.Aeron’s Weather Monitoring Station (WMS) complies to the guidelines outlined in IEC 61724-1:2021. The WMS is a perfect product for real-time, accurate and reliable monitoring of environmental conditions, thereby keeping track of plant efficiency and maintenance of solar power sytems on a real-time basis.

XTREME Smart Data Logger
Aeron Systems' XTREME series offers a family of smart data loggers designed for precision data acquisition across various applications. These robust devices excel at collecting measurements from multiple sensors through diverse analog and digital interfaces, ensuring secure data transmission to the cloud. The XTREME Smart Data Logger is particularly well-suited for weather monitoring in renewable energy plants. By continuously measuring critical parameters like solar radiation, ambient temperature, humidity, panel temperature, wind speed, soiling losses and atmospheric pressure using high-precision sensors, the XTREME empowers solar and wind plants to make informed, data-driven decisions based on real-time environmental conditions, optimising energyproduction and operational efficiency.

Soiling Station
The Soiling Index Measurement System (SIMS100) monitors real-time power loss data caused by soiling in solar plants. This provides critical information, which helps the Operation & Maintenance team schedule panel cleaning to maximise energy generation.
The SIMS100 is designed according to the "Measurement method 2-short-circuit current reduction due to soiling as per the IEC 61724-1:2021 Annex C: Soiling measurement using clean and soiled PV reference device pair" standard.
The system includes a solar panel interface device (SPIM2000) that accurately measures the short-circuit current of both clean and soiled panels simultaneously. This data, combined with module temperature data from both panels, is processed using an algorithm to determine the instantaneous and daily average Soiling Loss Index values.
