High Performance AHRU/INS for Naval applications

Aeron's Aldebaran FOG INS and Octantis tactical MEMS AHRS are ideal systems for underwater orientation and navigation for high endurance AUVs, while the miniature Pollux AHRS provides robust control for ROVs and smaller UUVs. For surface vessels, the Octantis dual-antenna INS guarantees continuous, accurate heading for USVs and tactical boats, even in rough seas and GNSS-denied conditions. This suite provides assured navigation, guidance, and stabilisation across the entire naval operations spectrum.

High-Performance IMU for Control & Stabilisation

Aeron’s High-Performance Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) are engineered to deliver unmatched bias performance, ruggedness, and reliability for naval system applications requiring precision control and stabilisation.

Available in both tactical-grade MEMS and navigation-grade FOG variants, these IMUs provide the ultra-low bias instability (0.1°/h to 1°/h) and high update rates necessary for the most demanding maritime operations. Qualified to MIL standards and proven to withstand the constant motion and undulations of naval environments, Aeron’s IMUs are the ideal choice for pedestal stabilisation, remote-controlled systems (RCWS), SATCOM antennas and electro-optic sighting systems. They provide the continuous, high-fidelity motion data essential for maintaining targeting accuracy and platform stability on dynamic naval vessels, ensuring mission success in the most challenging seas.
