Aeron Systems Honoured for Indias First Indigenous AHRS for Fighter Aircraft

A proud moment for Aeron Systems! We are thrilled to announce that Aeron Systems has been awarded the "Excellence in Aerospace Indigenisation" award by the prestigious Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI). This recognition celebrates our significant contribution to the indigenous development of India’s first Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) designed for a frontline fighter aircraft.

Pioneering Aerospace Innovation for India

The development of the AHRS marks a major milestone not just for Aeron Systems but for the entire Indian aerospace industry. Traditionally reliant on imported technologies for such critical navigation systems, India now takes a proud step forward in achieving self-reliance in aerospace technology, aligning seamlessly with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).

The AHRS is a crucial component in modern fighter aircraft, providing precise attitude, heading, and motion data to ensure high-performance navigation and control. Developing this system indigenously required advanced engineering, extensive research, and the ability to meet stringent aviation safety and reliability standards. Aeron Systems has successfully demonstrated these capabilities through relentless dedication and innovation.

We are honoured to receive this award from the Honourable Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, presented on behalf of SIATI. We are grateful for this recognition and inspired by SIATI’s encouragement to continue contributing meaningfully to India’s aerospace and defence ecosystem.

At Aeron Systems, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology in India. Our focus continues to be on developing cutting-edge Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) and expanding our portfolio of indigenous aerospace solutions that can empower India’s defence and aviation sectors.

This recognition from SIATI strengthens our resolve to contribute further to the country's mission of technological independence and global competitiveness in aerospace.

We look forward to achieving many more milestones in indigenous aerospace excellence and continuing to make India proud on the global stage.
